- Mollie (Lily Gladstone) and her sisters discuss the men in their lives, including "coyote" Ernest Burkhart (Leonardo DiCaprio). Killers of the Flower Moon is streaming now on Apple TV+ apple.co/_KillersOfTheFlowerMoon
At the turn of the 20th century, oil brought a fortune to the Osage Nation, who became some of the richest people in the world overnight. The wealth of these Native Americans immediately attracted white interlopers, who manipulated, extorted, and stole as much Osage money as they could before resorting to murder. Based on a true story and told through the improbable romance of Ernest Burkhart (Leonardo DiCaprio) and Mollie Kyle (Lily Gladstone), “Killers of the Flower Moon” is an epic western crime saga, where real love crosses paths with unspeakable betrayal. Also starring Robert De Niro, Jesse Plemons, John Lithgow, Brendan Fraser, Tantoo Cardinal, Cara Jade Myers, JaNae Collins, and Jillian Dion, Killers of the Flower Moon is directed by Academy Award winner Martin Scorsese from a screenplay by Eric Roth and Scorsese, based on David Grann’s best-selling book.
Hailing from Apple Studios, Killers of the Flower Moon was produced alongside Imperative Entertainment, Sikelia Productions and Appian Way. Producers are Scorsese, Dan Friedkin, Bradley Thomas and Daniel Lupi, with DiCaprio, Rick Yorn, Adam Somner, Marianne Bower, Lisa Frechette, John Atwood, Shea Kammer and Niels Juul serving as executive producers.

Lily's performance in this film is mesmerizing! She is stunning and I hope the industry realise the level of talent they have in their hands here
I agree. Something about her...mesmerizing and hypnotic lady.
Yes!
One of my favorite scenes ever in a movie
It's really a perfect movie, one of the top three best performances of Dicapron's career, Deniro had already done a perfect job, and the person who impressed me more than all of them was Lily Gladstone, she definitely deserves a big award, but I don't know if her skin color will prevent it...
I'm pretty sure she could win an award. Its not like the the Marlon Brando Oscar Incident.
She won the golden globe & critics award…Oscar’s most likely hers . I’d say 80% chance she wins
She won SAG, which is industry and not critics (and more important.). Also this film would have been perfect if it was about 45 min shorter and she was featured more prominently in the second part.
@@Waffle-tv7rg had someone say i had a bad attention span(i watched oppenheimer just fine) since the film would have been better if it was 40 mins shorter
Hale was a segregationist and an influential member of the Democratic Party in Osage County. He had considerable influence over the local Osage County prosecutor. During his election campaign, the prosecutor sought Hale's endorsement and after receiving it won every precinct near Hale's ranch.
He wouldn’t be a member of the Democratic Party today friend, if that’s where you’re headed. :) (It is.)
@@ruthie8785Governor J. B. Pritzker of Illinois reminds me of Hale personally. It’s the same slick talking “rabble rouser” type.
I think he had connections to the murders of the black folks aswell in pawhusks and Tulsa. We know the murders of the native Americans and he might’ve did it to the black community too
Beautiful language, beautiful background music, beautiful women. Wow.
I’m watching this on repeat! The actresses Osage accents and the language is so beautiful!!
I'm hoping that Lily Wins the Oscar along with Society of The Snow, The Boy and The Heron and it would be nice to see Godzilla minus one get some love; Oppenheimer and Barbie though both good films just didn't hit home and keep me captivated as much as Killers of The Flower Moon did but that's just my opinion
I agree!
Muito bom o filme
Why didn't they have subtitles in the actual movie for those of us who don't speak Osage?
They did in particular scenes, like this. The rest they didn’t. I think it was intentional, we weren’t supposed to know, but usually you had an idea of what they were saying in the way they were delivering it. I think the reason was because we are supposed to take in the perspective of outsiders who aren’t apart of the Osage clan, like Leo and DeNiro.
@@IAmAFamel yeah we streamed it on Prime so we didn't have any subtitles at all. But I agree I believe that's why Martin Scorsese did that- it was definitely intentional.
@@JaneDoe-em7zi There's something really strange/buggy with the Prime subtitles for this movie. My girlfriend and I watched it, and noticed that if we disabled the main subtitles for the rest of the film, the Osage subtitles *would* appear. Try that if you give it another watch.
@@chrswlch I will try that thank you so much! 😃
This makes me soo happy! And what a thoughtful decision from the director. I hope that more movies do this for the audience to have limited conversations to not know everything but to have to interpret what possibly was said.
❤❤❤❤❤Molly
If she doesn’t get an Oscar it’s over I will lose it
hee hee hee. RUN! Get the Pillow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Lily Gladstone white native
And the people that was killing this tribe hasn't changed much over the years either let me tell ya. The same ole Karen's and Darren's.
More like the Daryl’s and Daquans, gunning down people just trying to celebrate the chief’s victory
It was a good movie, but I didn't think Dicaprio's performance was that great. The overbite and accent just seemed forced and not very believable.
Now I usually am not too big a fan of DeeCap but I thought he was great in this role, probably the best I’ve seen him act, a little more subdued than he usually is.
Emma Stone won the Oscar
Boooo!
Brig. Gen. Stand Watie (CSA) principal Chief Native American Slave ownership Cherokee, Chickasaw, Choctaw, Creek, Seminole "Five Dollar Indian"
This movie is unwatchable.
It's really annoying when someone talks in their native tounge and giggles specially infront of someone who doesn't understand a thing. That person might think they're making fun of him/her.
That person's paranoia isn't someone else's problem. If I'm out in public and hear someone speaking a language I don't know, I don't assume they're gossiping about me. I don't think I'm so important that complete strangers have to comment on me everywhere I go.
@@feverspell But they literally do, all the time lol. Ask someone who speaks a second language
Aww poor you
@@Charlie-lh8bv Oh not all the time LOL. English is my second language and I'm married to a native English speaker. It's just comfortable talking in your native language with your family members (and some friends).
Did you know…and try not to let this shock you too much…BUT!
…you can LEARN other languages?!?! 😮 IT’S TRUE! And then you can, gasp, UNDERSTAND WHAT THEY ARE SAYING!
